From Vision to Victory – Celebrating 10 Years of Business with Conversance
Written by Rumella Cameron
Ten years ago, I made one of the boldest decisions of my life—I left my full-time job and took a leap of faith to start a business from the ground up. I didn’t have all the answers, and I certainly didn’t have all the resources. But what I did have was clarity of purpose: to provide much-needed administrative support services to small businesses that were drowning in paperwork, under-supported, and lacking strategic guidance.
Today, as we celebrate 10 years of Conversance Business Solutions, I’m humbled and energized. We’ve served over 1,200 entrepreneurs and business owners—from tech startups and real estate agents to nonprofit founders and transportation companies. We’ve helped them automate workflows, develop solid business plans, launch with confidence, and stay organized in chaos. This milestone isn’t just about longevity—it’s about impact.
Let’s dive into what we’ve learned over the last decade, and more importantly, how you can apply these lessons to grow your own business.

What’s Next for Conversance
As we head into our second decade, we’re doubling down on our mission: to provide full-service business support and consulting for entrepreneurs ready to build empires—not just side hustles.
We’re expanding our virtual assistant team, building out a high-level mastermind experience, and launching more training programs. Our new Business Strategy Sessions and Virtual Office Memberships are just the beginning.
Final Thoughts: How to Stay in Business for 10+ Years
If you’re just starting, or if you’re trying to scale—remember these five things:
- Start messy, then refine. Don’t wait for perfection.
- Track everything. What gets measured gets managed.
- Market consistently, even when you’re busy.
- Get help. Hire a virtual assistant, a coach, or an intern. You can’t do it all.
- Celebrate your wins—big and small. Gratitude fuels growth.
If no one has told you lately: You can do this. It’s hard, yes. But it’s also worth it.
Here’s to the next 10 years—and to your business breakthrough.
We hope these tips were helpful!
