9 Years Roadmap of Company

As we celebrate the ninth anniversary of Conversance Business Solutions this July, it’s a moment to reflect on our journey from a modest beginning to becoming a leader in virtual assistance and business consultancy. Founded in July 2015 by a determined single mother fresh out of college with just a laptop and a printer, Conversance was born out of a passion for helping small business owners navigate the complex world of administration and operations.

A Timeline of Growth and Adaptation / (Our 9-year Journey )

• 2015: Launched by Rumella Cameron, Conversance started as a solo venture, offering tailored executive support and marketing services out of a simple home office. Recognizing a gap in the market for comprehensive virtual assistant services, the foundation was set for a business that would prioritize effective and efficient solutions.
• 2017: The team expanded to include 12 employees, including a dedicated on-site team providing administrative support to a local non-profit, marking our first major expansion and a significant increase in our operational capacity.
• 2019-2021: The COVID-19 pandemic posed unprecedented challenges, wiping out 100% of our business client base temporarily. During this critical period, Conversance collaborated with local agencies like Pathstone Enterprise, offering crucial technical support and conducting workshops to help other business owners pivot and maintain cash flow through the crisis.
• Pandemic Period: Despite the challenges, this period was also a time of significant online engagement and visibility enhancement. I contributed to a column in the Rochester Women’s Online Magazine and created the ‘Business Talk’ column, which shared timely tips for navigating business during the pandemic.
• 2022-Present: As we emerged from the global crisis, Conversance has expanded its services further, now offering LLC formation and publishing, alongside our established virtual office and coworking spaces, truly establishing ourselves as a one-stop shop for business support.
